Delete your account
You can delete your keyline account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. No email to us and no waiting.
How to delete your account
iPhone or Android
- Open the keyline app and sign in.
- Go to the More tab, then Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. The deletion is immediate and permanent.
Web browser
- Sign in at keylineconnect.com.
- Open Settings from the sidebar.
- Scroll to Delete my account at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm when prompted. The deletion is immediate and permanent.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way for us to restore the account afterwards, so export anything you need first.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, city and brokerage
- Your login credentials and any linked Apple or Google sign-in
- Deal spaces you own, including their stages, prices and key dates
- Messages you sent, and the message history in deal spaces you own
- Documents and photos you uploaded, including the stored files themselves
- Contacts and contact reminders you created
- Timeline milestones, conditions, showings and client to-do lists you created
- Notes you wrote
- Your push notification registrations, so notifications stop immediately
- Your referral code and referral records
What is kept, and why
- Messages and documents in a deal space owned by someone else. A client leaving does not erase the agent’s record of the transaction. Your name is removed from the space, but messages you sent to that agent remain part of their file.
- Payment and invoice records held by Stripe. Canadian tax and accounting rules require keeping transaction records. These are held by Stripe, our payment processor, and contain no deal content.
- Support emails you sent us. Kept in our support inbox so we can answer follow-up questions. Ask us to remove them and we will.
If you cannot access the app
If you are locked out and cannot sign in to delete the account yourself, email privacy@keylineconnect.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We aim to respond within one business day.
